Singing 03:10
Got a head on my shoulders But I don't know that it's thinking I got my feet on the ground But I don't know that their walking Then you came into view Made me feel brand new That’s when I felt We could sing all night I want heat in my night But I just can't seem to light it Days go by and I can't seem to fight it Then you came into view Made me feel brand new That’s when I felt We could sing all night Well can we survive this life? Could music resolve all that strife? Maybe it could If we sing together all night Got a head on my shoulders But I don't know that it's thinking I got my feet on the ground But I don't know that their walking Then you came into view Made me feel brand new That’s when I felt We could sing all night Then you came into view Made me feel brand new That’s when I felt We could sing We could sing We could sing all night

I took myself, into the isolation of my bedroom With its peeling paint and Dali posters on the wall In my single chair, a woven carpet on the hard wood floor I can hear the birds singing as I shoulder the dawn I’m alone with a thousand thoughts Rushing around my head In isolation, I’m feeling anxious now It’s all because of you, my world seems ultra-blue Yeah, yeah, yeah I took myself, to do some mediation for my mind I sit here quietly listening to the world go by My thoughts disintegrate like the sands of time Blown by the wind to the sound of a chime Echo around my head again and again I’m alone with a thousand thoughts Marching around my head In isolation, my mind is more peaceful now It’s all because of you Not thinking in the rear view yeah yeah The problem isn’t mine Leave the problem far behind To the heart of mankind It’s time to adjourn A problem shared is halved So I’ll leave it behind Rather than shoulder the dawn Yeah La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La La Still alone with a thousand thoughts But feeling much better with myself In isolation, I’m feeling much better now It’s all because of you My new attitude It’s all because of you My world’s no longer ultra-blue It’s all because of you There’s no shouldering the dawn No more shouldering the dawn

Took myself up on a mountain For to lay my burden down I come back down from that mountain But love was nowhere to be found Love was nowhere to be found I took myself out on the ocean Searching for my soul in the wind I got washed up on this here island But love was nowhere to be found No love was nowhere to be found Of all the questions that need answers There’s always this one that gets me down I’ve searched the highways and the by-ways Why is love nowhere to be found Why is love nowhere to be found Love’s nowhere nowhere to be found Nowhere to be found Love’s nowhere nowhere to be found Nowhere to be found Love’s nowhere nowhere to be found Nowhere to be found Nowhere to be found Nowhere to be found Nowhere to be found Nowhere to be found Nowhere to be found

about

Sun Trippers for many years rehearsed in a spacious old heritage-listed home near Fremantle known as Davilak House. This stately home had a warmth within, and a natural reverb from the large rooms and high ceilings that made the music come alive. This ambience provided a wonderful space to rehearse, drink good wine, and let the collective influences of the band create a unique brand of music.

When Sun Trippers were ready to record some of their material they decided it was fitting to record in Davilak House using a bare minimum of microphones to retain a realistic sound, live in the loungeroom. The very same room where they had taken their embryonic ideas and formed them into songs. These wonderful tracks have been released across 2 live EP's.
